Univent Nasal Spray

Ipratropium bromide 21mcg/spray

Product Description

Univent Nasal Spray is for the relief of rhinorrhoea (or "runny nose") associate with the common cold, allergies and hayfever. Contains 180 metered doses. Available in a 15ml bottle.

Dosage

For Regular Use - Adults: 2 sprays into each nostril 2 to 3 times daily. 3 to 4 sprays into each nostril may be required by some patients initially to obtain maximum effect. Children (over 12 years): 2 sprays into each nostril twice a day.

For Intermittent Use - 2 to 3 sprays into each nostril prior to exposure of rhinorrhoea trigger factors, e.g temperature changes, food and exercise.

For Symptomatic Relief of Rhinorrhoea Associated with the Common Cold - Adults: Initially 2 sprays into each nostril 3 to 4 times a day, followed by 2 additional sprays five minutes after the first sprays.

Warnings and Cautions

• Not to be used by children under 12 years of age.
• Keep spray away from eyes.
