Product Description

Lansinoh soothes, heals and protects sore nipples. It penetrates deeply, restores and maintains the moisture content essential for healthy, supple skin. When Lansinoh is applied to injured nipple skin tissue, it slows down the evaporation of the skin's natural moisture, providing a moisture barrier that allows the skin to rehydrate from within. This process is known as moist wound healing, the most up to date method of accelerating healing which eliminates the formation of scabs/crusts. Lansinoh does not clog pores or milk ducts.

Directions For Use

During breastfeeding: for the soothing relief and effective treatment of sore nipples, apply Lansinoh over the whole area of sore or damaged skin after every feed and as needed. If the skin is cracked or very abraded, a thick layer of Lansinoh enables faster healing. Lansinoh is ultra pure and well absorbed; it does not need to be removed before breastfeeding. Sore and damaged nipples commonly indicate a problem the way the baby attaches to the breast when feeding. If the problem persists, seek help from a breastfeeding specialist.

During pregnancy: Lansinoh may also be used to condition the nipples prior to breastfeeding by applying twice daily to ease dryness and to promote healthy, supple skin.
