Active ingredients
Oral capsule: Fluconazole 150mg
Cream: Clotrimazole 10mg/g
Inactive ingredients
Lactose, Benzyl alcohol 1% w/w as a preservative.
Product description
Canesten Duo contains a single dose oral capsule to treat vaginal thrush plus a soothing cream for immediate relief of external itching and soreness.
Directions for use
Capsule: Swallow the capsule with water, with or without food and at any time of the day.
Cream: Apply gently to the irritated area 2 to 3 times daily until symptoms clear. For external use only.
Warnings and cautions
Do not use Canesten Duo if:
- You are allergic to medicines containing fluconazole or other anti-fungal treatments such as miconazole, ketoconazole, clotrimazole or itraconazole.
- You are using cisapride (Prepulsid), a medicine used to treat stomach problems.
- You are pregnant or trying to become pregnant, or if you are breastfeeding.
Your pharmacist's advice is required for this product.
