Canesten Once Pessary and Cream
Active Ingredients
Pessary contains 500mg Clotrimazole. Each gram of cream contains 10mg Clotrimazole (1%w/w).
Inactive Ingredients
Pessary contains lactose. Cream contains Benzyl alcohol 1%w/w as a preservative.
Product Description
Canesten Once Pessary and Cream provides a convenient one dose vaginal thrush therapy plus cream for the soothing relief of external irriation. Vaginal thrush (vaginal candidiasis) is a common infection caused by yeast-like fungi. Main symptoms of the condition include itching, burning and discharge.
Directions
Insert the pessary gently and deeply into the vagina at bedtime using the applicator provided. use the cream to relieve the symptoms of external vuluovaginal itching, gently apply Canested anti-fungal cream onto the irritated area 2-3 times daily. Partner treatment: apply 2-3 times daily to the genital region.
Warnings and Cautions
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Consult a doctor if symptoms do not start to clear within 4 days after commencement of treatment.
- Consult your doctor if you have not had thrush before.
- Do not use if you are pregnant, or think you might be.
- Do not take by mouth.
